Colton Dixon, Season 11 American Idol contestant, got a big opportunity during the American Idols Live! Tour. Being the 7th contestant voted off the show, Dixon would not be one of the contestants to perform an original song. It was a big surprise to Dixon when the producers told him he was going to be featured in the show. On tour he is performing his original song “Never Gone.” Since Idol, Dixon has been working on his music with Contemporary Christian mainstay and Red Decibel Production Company. He has also written some songs with Lifehouse’s Jason Wade, and plans to write with Idol winner Phillip Phillips. Dixon has decided his music will be “mainly Christian, but does not want to alienate anyone.” Click the jump to hear “Never Gone.”
