Today is the anniversary of The Day The Music Died, so dubbed by the song "American Pie" by Don McLean. The day that Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson were killed in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa. Today's nine songs are inspred by that day and each day through the years that the music died.
