Rock band Black Sabbath, known for their songs “Evil Woman” and “Paranoid” planned a reunion album, and shows for 2012. Bill Ward, drummer of the band, informed his fans on his website, that he would no longer be a part of the reunion. Apparently, Ward had been asked to only perform minimally with the band at the Download Festival in the UK and in Birmingham. Ward wanted to be there for all his fans, not for just a few shows. Ward said “for me it’s all or nothing;” although he is open for a signable contract of terms. The band will continue recording the reunion album without their original drummer.
American Idol may have to find a new judge after this 11th season. Jennifer Lopez, who with Steven Tyler replaced Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell, has made it clear that she has a big decision to make after the season finale next week. JLo was a guest on Ellen to promote her new movie, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and when asked about Idol seemed very indecisive. She has a worldwide tour this summer, when Idol auditions take place that could affect her decision. Survivor: One World crowned a winner Sunday May 13th. This season was full of control by a female contestant and by a male contestant. In the beginning of the show Colton Cumbie dominated the men’s team. After he was sent home for medical reasons, Kim Spradlin gained complete control over the men and women. Spradlin won the final immunity challenges, and had a hidden immunity idol that she never had to use due to her control over the other players. In the final three she sat next to good friends Sabrina Thompson, and Chelsea Meissner, but in the end Spradlin dominated the whole season. Spradlin not only took home the million dollars, but also scored the fan favorite and added $100,000 to her winnings. The next season of Survivor will return with three former contestants that were medically evacuated. Watch out, controlling Colton may return to mix things up next season.
