Dayton Area Red Cross Joins Illinois Flood Disaster Relief
Thousands are without power and homes and roadways are flooded after heavy rainfall in the Midwest. In Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, many have seeked out shelter or help from the American Red Cross due to the damage and devastation.
The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross has sent local volunteers to Peoria, Illinois to help provide hot meals to those affected and the chapter is staying alert and ready to send more volunteers if needed.
